- PACLC 2009 is an outing for Pine Academy students and it is a pleasure to have you! This event marks another milestone in our efforts to forge closer ties amongst all of you, so as with your lecturers. We hold to the firm belief that students fare better in their studies when they have a sense of belonging not only amongst their fellow course mates, but also to the institution they are studying in. At Pine Academy, we are proud to take a huge step in reaching out to our students in the hope that despite our role as educators, we are their friends, too! At this moment I have just this little song line in mind – “Getting to know you, getting to know all about you…” To achieve this important aim, our Pine Academy Creative Team had painstakingly planned lots of exciting, fun and interesting team building activities for us. On another note, I would also like to thank all the lecturers (who are also your Facilitators) for their kind assistance in making this event a success. They are Vincci Chan, Joanna Lye, Tommy Chaim, Freda Chin,and Datin Nelly, last but not least, Dr. Fred Chin for his valuable insights and suggestions. Bonnie Lai Camp Manager
